Interventional Radiology

The Newest Minimally Invasive Treatment Options available at Conrad Pearson

At Conrad Pearson, we’re proud to be a regional leader in comprehensive urology care. We are now offering the latest in minimally invasive treatments through our state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology (IR) suite located in Memphis.

Our IR Center provides advanced, image-guided treatments for a variety of conditions including enlarged prostate (BPH), uterine fibroids, varicoceles, and hemorrhoids—without the need for traditional surgery or general anesthesia. Patients benefit from shorter recovery times, reduced risk, and the ability to return home just hours after their procedure.

Interventional Radiology is a cutting-edge medical specialty that uses real-time imaging such as X-ray, CT, and MRI to guide precise treatments through a small needle. These procedures are designed to relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, and often eliminate the need for hospitalization.

Common conditions that we treat using IR techniques include:

  • Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
  • Uterine Fibroids
  • Varicoceles
  • Hemorrhoids

Our goal is simple: to provide effective, personalized care in a comfortable outpatient setting, helping you get back to your life with minimal disruption. Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain or exploring alternatives to surgery, the Interventional Radiology Center at Conrad Pearson is here to guide you every step of the way.

The advantages of these minimally invasive techniques include reduced risks, faster recover, greater comfort, and a quicker return to work and usually return to full activity – usually in less than a week. The effectiveness of treatment may be better than with traditional treatments. IR is also particularly beneficial for patients with medical co-morbidities that may increase risk of general anesthesia, those who are on blood thinning medications or those who have undergone numerous surgeries.
